FAQs

  • At MindView Psychology, we are an out-of-network provider with all insurance companies. This means we do not accept insurance.

If you have out-of-network benefits, we can provide you with a receipt that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. However, please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed. Each insurance company has different policies, and they may require specific forms, such as W-9s or pre-authorizations, for reimbursement. We do not work directly with insurance companies and are unable to assist with filing claims or providing additional documentation for reimbursement requests.

    Important Notes:

Insurance companies typically only cover services deemed “medically necessary.” This means that services related to evaluations for disability benefits, academic or learning difficulties, and similar assessments may not be covered.

  • We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle. A non-refundable 50% payment is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due before or at the time of your appointment.

If required to testify additional fees will be incurred

  • We are committed to providing high-quality, personalized care without the restrictions imposed by insurance. Insurance often limits the types of services covered, including psychological evaluations, regardless of their importance for diagnosis and treatment planning. By operating outside of insurance networks, we can tailor our services to each client’s unique needs without delays or coverage denials.

Our specialized services require advanced training and expertise, often beyond what insurance covers. Our providers hold doctoral degrees in clinical psychology, have completed APA-accredited postdoctoral training, and continually invest in ongoing education to stay current with best practices.

Psychological evaluations are time-intensive, often requiring 20 or more hours per case. This includes face-to-face or virtual sessions, test selection, administration, scoring, interpretation, conclusion development, and detailed report writing. Additional time is spent on related tasks, such as letters, forms, phone calls, and documentation. We also respond promptly to messages, ensuring continuous support without delays from pre-authorizations or insurance approvals.
